Most of our orphan children spend the Christmas and New Year's holidays in the village with their extended family. There are some that for one reason or another are unable to do that. This year, 13 children stayed at SOAP through the holidays. The week between Christmas and New Year's Day, we took them on a trip to Gulu, Uganda. There we met Pastor Nate Wright from Grace Baptist Church of Gulu at the Recreation Project - a program designed to encourage youth to work together to overcome fear and obstacles.
